A brainwashed woman speaks to a psychologist

Slim pickings this time ‘round; the premise of the story was the simple desire to write a story about rape fetishism. Clearly, it grew beyond that, as all written works are wont to do.
Still, here’s some meat to chew on, freaks ❤
“On tenterhooks” is an underrated idiom I use far more than the average person (it’s even used in Make Yourself Useful!) This song did not introduce me to the phrase but I was listening to it while debating what to name the story, and prompted my lightbulb moment. Thank you French Navy by Camera Obscura ❤
(The lyrics do fit well, too, in a sinister ironic way)
They kept trying. Her hypnotist (too kind! too generous!) asked if she wanted to stop, but no, she had to do this. She had to be able to. She had to prove herself. Got dropped. Got dragged up. Tried to resist. Failed. And the pattern repeated itself, and repeated itself.
A little story about weaponizing progressive language in erotic hypnosis to an end result that leaves the subject caught in a web impossible to escape. Probably the closest thing to “Tenterhooks” in content and form (which is no surprise; Joy’s writing was a great influence on the story in the first place! The snake is eating its own tail.)
And who put you in that box, little teacup?
